Dr. Tricia Cannon, DDS

As a child, I struggled with my teeth. I was so self-conscious about my smile that I avoided showing my teeth whenever I could. My personal journey through braces, palatal expansion, headgear, and rubber bands gave me firsthand experience with dental correction.

I absolutely loved my new smile after getting them straightened. It was during that process that I realized my life’s calling: to help others achieve the confidence that comes with a beautiful smile.

As early as seven years old, I knew I wanted to become a dentist. In 1995, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, and in 1998, I founded Cannon Family Dentistry. For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of providing dental care to the Broken Arrow community.

During dental school, I chose to focus in general dentistry because I’m a people person at heart. I love developing long-term relationships with my patients and their families—many of whom span multiple generations. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their dental health journey over the years.

While I was never afraid of going to the dentist as a child, I understand that for many, it can be a source of anxiety. My goal is to ensure that every patient has the best possible experience, knowing that we truly care about their well-being and comfort.

Dr. Piper Cannon, DDS

For Dr. Piper Cannon, dentistry feels like coming home.

Growing up in Bixby, Oklahoma, she spent countless hours watching and helping her mom, Dr. Tricia Cannon, chairside. Those early experiences sparked a passion for dentistry and showed her firsthand how compassionate care can positively impact people's lives.

Dr. Piper earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and recently returned to Tulsa after practicing in Reno, Nevada, where she gained valuable experience providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.

What Dr. Piper loves most about dentistry is the unique combination of science and artistry. She enjoys taking something that may be broken, uncomfortable, or embarrassing for a patient and transforming it into something healthy, functional, and beautiful.

Dr. Piper believes exceptional dentistry goes beyond procedures. Her philosophy is to provide personalized, high-quality, ethical care while treating every patient as a person. She is especially passionate about helping patients who may have avoided dental care due to fear or embarrassment and strives to create an environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for without judgment.

She has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and extractions and is committed to continually growing her knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care for her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Piper enjoys exploring Tulsa's food scene, working out, gardening, and spending time outdoors whenever the sun is shining. She also loves spending time with her two cats, Rory and Yuki, and is thrilled to be back in Tulsa serving the community she loves.

Most of all, Dr. Piper is honored to work alongside her mom and continue the tradition of compassionate, patient-centered care that has defined Cannon Family Dentistry for many years.
